MCQ by FDP ("we", "us", "our") is an exam-preparation platform operated by Futani Digital Platform. This page explains what information we collect, why, and how it's handled.

Information we collect

• Account information: name, email, mobile number, city, and the course/class you select at registration. State, school/college, date of birth, and bio are optional.
• Sign-in information: if you use Google Sign-In, we receive your name and email from Google. We never receive your Google password.
• Usage data: quiz attempts, answers, scores, accuracy, and time spent, so we can show you progress and analytics.
• Payment information: if you subscribe to Pro, payments are processed by Razorpay. We store the payment amount, order status, and a payment reference ID — we never see or store your card, UPI, or bank details; those go directly to Razorpay.
• Community content: messages you post in community chat rooms are visible to other students in that room.

How we use your information

• To create and manage your account, and let you log in via password, email OTP, or Google.
• To show you personalized practice sets, progress, and analytics.
• To process Pro subscription payments and manage access to premium content.
• To send you account-related emails (OTP codes, password resets).

What we don't do

• We don't sell your personal information to third parties.
• We don't show third-party advertising or share your data with advertisers.

Third-party services we use

• Google Sign-In (Google LLC) — for optional account login.
• Razorpay — for processing Pro subscription payments.

Data retention

We retain your account and quiz history for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at [email protected].

Delete your account

You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time. To do so, email [email protected] from the email address linked to your account, with the subject line "Account deletion request." Include your registered mobile number so we can verify it's really you.

Once we receive and verify your request, here's what happens:

• Deleted within 30 days: your name, email, mobile number, city, course/class, state, school/college, date of birth, bio, avatar, quiz attempt history, bookmarks, and community messages.
• Retained where required by law: payment/transaction records (order ID, amount, date) are kept for as long as applicable tax and accounting regulations require, even after account deletion. These records are not used for any purpose beyond legal/financial compliance once your account is deleted.
• Not recoverable: once deletion is processed, your quiz history, progress, and Pro subscription status cannot be restored, even if you create a new account later.

You'll receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete.

Children's privacy

This platform is used by school students as one of its intended audiences. We collect only the information described above and do not knowingly collect more information from children than is necessary to provide the service. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with information beyond what's needed, contact us at [email protected] and we will address it.

Security

Passwords are stored using industry-standard hashing (bcrypt) and are never stored or visible in plain text. All traffic to this site is encrypted (HTTPS).

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
